River rafting adventure trip in Iceland
on the Hvítá river located on the Golden
Circle, close to the Geysir Hot Springs
River difficulty 2+ out of 5 possible
This is our most popular river rafting tour! The Hvítá river is a beautiful and fun
river a little more then one hours drive from Reykjavík. For more than 20 years the RiverFun
rafting trip has been Iceland´s most popular adventure activity. With a
near perfect mix of vertical, imposing canyonwalls and adrenaline pumping waves
and rapids, river rafting the Hvítá (pronounced: Kveetau) is guaranteed to
leave you with fond memories. We raft a seven kilometer stretch of the
river and in Brúarhlöð canyon the rafters get to leap from a cliff into
the river and go swimming the glacial waters of the Icelandic Highlands!
No one should leave Iceland with out experiencing the power that its
rivers contain and lay eyes on the scenic canyons of Brúarhlöð in Hvítá.
