Arctic Adventures started rafting in Iceland in the year 1997 and has since then grown to be the biggest rafting and adventure operation in Iceland. When we started we were called Arctic Rafting but as we added more and more activities we were forced to change our name to Arctic Adventures.
Our home rivers are the Hvitariver on the Golden Circle in South Iceland. Our base camp there is only 10 minutes from the Geysirhotsprings and Gullfoss waterfall. This trip is called RiveFun and you can see more info here below. We also offer white water canoeing on the Hvita river, that trip is perfect for the adventurous traveler!
Holmsariver is our class 4+ adrenaline rafting trip...not for the faint of heart and only for those that have rafted before. It is named RiverAction.
